The Taiwanese VBL series – Stay By My Side 免疫屏蔽, You Are Mine 絕對佔領, VIP Only 保留席位, and Anti Reset 恆久定律 – have filmed a 20-minute extra episode for each of the 4 series. These extra episodes were produced through crowdfunding since January 18, 2024 through to April 30, 2024 and from all reports, the goal of the crowdfunding was reached after just one day and the filming went ahead smoothly. They have now released the teasers for each of the 4 extra episodes but no date has been announced for when they will be shown. Who would have thought this time last year that we would be getting so many BL dramas adapted from popular Chinese BL novels, yes proper BL dramas, not the bromance drama adaptations we are used to in the last 5 or 6 years from China. All of these new “Chinese” BL dramas are now cleverly circumventing China and being produced and broadcast outside China!

MasterChef Australia 16 (2024)

Season 16 of MasterChef Australia will premiere on April 22, 2024 on 10 and 10play. There will be four permanent judges with three new judges joining Andy Allen this year. One of the new judges is a familiar face on MasterChef Australia, Poh Ling Yeow, who was an alumna from season 1 and has also been guest judging in many previous seasons while the other two are new faces on Australian television, food writer Sofia Levin and French Michelin-Star chef Jean-Christophe Novelli. An overseas trip will also return this year.
