After making 3 series of Poh’s Kitchen for the ABC, runner-up of the inaugural series of MasterChef Australia, Poh Ling Yeow has found a new home at SBS. Her new 6-part series called Poh & Co. will premiere on Thursday, April 2, 2015 at 8pm on SBS ONE.
In this unique series, Poh shares her chaotic life by giving us a glimpse of her fascinating world of business pursuits, artistic dreams and fun adventures with family and friends. Also watch out for appearances by her pal and cooking confidant Andre Ursini, another MasterChef Australia alumni from season one who now runs his own Andre’s Cucina & Polenta Bar in Adelaide and one of the most successful contestants to ever come out of MasterChef Australia in terms of actually working in the food industry.

* Interesting they are giving the Vietnamese version of this popular old-fashioned Chinese syrupy snack known as Lek Tau Suan (original Chinese version is without coconut milk), I haven’t made it for a long time, now craving for it which is always served with Chinese cruellers (fried Chinese breadsticks). Got to look for the cruellers this weekend, LOL.

  2. Yaaayyy… Season 2 Poh & Co!!! I have been enjoying the repeats of Poh & Co., and Poh’s Kitchen very much. I can’t watch it on time, so I record them, and rewind them again and again when i have time.
    In Poh’s Kitchen, there was 1 dish your Mum made, it’s a thin (look sweet) bbq pork, do you mind if i ask for the recipe? Thanks a lot Poh xx

      I don’t know if you are aware that Poh was the runner up of MasterChef Australia in 2009 (Season 1), which kick started her cooking career, so you may want to check out the first season of MasterChef Australia if you haven’t already 🙂

    • Don’t know, maybe she’s too busy running her cafe. Maybe in the future, but SBS has not hinted a season 3 for this year either. She however did appear as a guest on this year’s season 10 of MasterChef Australia for one episode.
