SBS One will start airing the third series of Destination Flavour hosted by MasterChef season 2 winner Adam Liaw. The 10-part series will begin tonight, Thursday, July 31, 2014 at 8:00pm following immediately after the premiere of Shane Delia’s Spice Journey: Turkey. Returning to sample more of Australia’s hidden destinations after his last series through Japan, Adam will also include New Zealand on his latest culinary tour.
Following the success of his cook’s tour through Japan, Adam Liaw returns to our screens to give Australia and New Zealand the Destination Flavour treatment.
In this culinary road trip of a lifetime, Adam travels along the untouched beauty of our Western Coast, through the baking heat of the red centre and onto the tree changers paradise of Northern New South Wales, taking us to secret destinations that most city-dwellers wouldn’t know exist. But his journey doesn’t end there. Adam then hops over the ditch and gets back in the driver’s seat for a culinary cruise through NZ. In New Zealand, like Australia, he discovers some of the world’s most spectacular scenery. Throughout his journey Adam meets the farmers, fishermen and growers who stand proudly behind their produce. Real people with real stories. Their passion, innovation and dedication is what makes them food heroes. And viewers will get the chance to celebrate their relentless pursuit for food and produce perfection, while Adam shares his culinary skills in – Destination Flavour Down Under.
