  1. I really like Good Chef Bad Chef – Janella and Adrian work very well together – I have printed out numerous receipes. My husband is very into healthy eating and also enjoys the show very much. Does Janella Purcell have a Cook Book? If so where can I buy one.

    • Dear Janella we love watching your program good chef bad chef and I have got a lot of the recipes from your show but we ( my husband & I ) are in our late seventies my husband will be 80 this year and I will be78 now why I am writing to you is since 2007 I have had many operations including bowel cancer (i had a hemi section done ) and other ops I also had breast cancer in around 2009 and before all this I was fairly healthy and used to work full time till I started having health problems then I took up lawn bowls and indoor bowls as did my husband,we were a little over weight but not a lot but since having breast cancer and was put on to Arimadex and I put on over 10kgs and had knee and ankle problems then had to have knee reconstruction but also when they used radiation on me I finished up with an infection called streptococcus I have tried so many diets and have even gone to beyond diet site and I love your recipes but when I try to buy lots of the products they don’t have them and all diets are designed more for younger people who can afford to go to gym have dietitians or surgery and have been told because I cant get around and be as active as I used to be I should adjust to having this weight so would you be able to tell me where I can buy the products you use in Adelaide and what is good for my age group I would love to get back to walking and bowls and getting around more and we have an anniversary coming up soon (60 yrs) and we would both like to try and lose some weight and if I could get some help it would be wonderful we have a large family and they are all very active as we used to be and all are very aware of their weight thanks for taking the time to read this letter

    • I’m only providing links to the recipes here, and have no association with the show at all. You can ask your question at their Facebook page.

  3. When I first starting watching this show (Series 1) I wasn’t that taken with it to be honest but since the fourth series has began I am hooked! I absolutely love the way they both spin off each other. The way Janella frowns every time Adrian adds butter, sugar or salt to the recipe cracks me up! It’s similar to how I am with my family with my attempts to improve healthier eating. For the last few years we have been surrounded by people who have cancer whether it be family, friends or friend of a friend. Thank you Janella for presenting these wonderful healthier recipes and also for providing tips with certain products.. Adrian, although some of your recipes may not be for me (OMG! The Big Breakfast with Oatcakes….. LOL!) you still have some wonderful recipes like todays Olive Oil cake with Rhubarb which I will be baking. Keep up the great work guys!!
